french fry & chips processing lines

VegTech Systems’ French Fry Line processes 2 to 30 tons of premium frozen fries per hour, transforming raw potatoes into consistent, high-quality products for fresh or frozen markets. Built with stainless steel, this scalable system features automation, adjustable cuts (7-12 mm), and energy-efficient design, ensuring minimal waste (5-10% peel loss) and high yields (90-95%) for medium-to-industrial producers.
The process starts with receiving potatoes, followed by destoning, washing, and steam peeling. Potatoes are then cut, blanched (70-95°C, 2-5 min), dried, fried (165-185°C, 3-5 min), de-oiled, and IQF frozen (-18°C), ending with vertical bagging (0.5-5 kg bags). Each stage is optimized for efficiency and quality across the 2-30 tons/h range.
Equipment includes: Receiving Hopper (2-30 tons/h, 1.5-5 kW, 5-50 m³); Destoner/Washer (2-15 m³/h water, 3-10 kW); Steam Peeler (200-1,500 kg/h steam, 1.1-4 kW, 0.5-3 m³/h water, 30-70 L/min air); Hydro-Cutter (5-20 kW, 1-6 m³/h water); Blancher (3-15 m³/h water, 10-50 kW); Dryer (15-60 kW, 50-150 L/min air); Fryer (50-200 kW, 200-1,200 L/h oil); De-Oiler (5-20 kW, 50-150 L/min air); IQF Freezer (100-450 kW, 100-300 L/min air); Vertical Bagger (3-10 kW, 30-100 L/min air, 20-80 bags/min).
